
Laura Íñigo Álvarez, researcher at CEDIS | NOVA School of Law (NSL), joins the Management Committee of COST Action CA24154 “Networking European Security Knowledge” (NetSec)
Laura Íñigo Álvarez, researcher at CEDIS – Research Centre on Law and Society and at the NOVA School of Law, is now part of the Management Committee of the COST Action CA24154 “Networking European Security Knowledge” (NetSec), representing Portugal.
Her participation in this European network represents a significant recognition of her academic work in the fields of international law and security studies, and reinforces NOVA School of Law’s active role in high-level European research networks.
The NetSec COST Action aims to strengthen and connect European knowledge in the field of security, fostering interdisciplinary and collaborative approaches. By bringing together a dynamic network of academics, policymakers, and experts, this initiative addresses the contemporary challenges of European security from legal, political, social, and technological perspectives.
Laura Íñigo Álvarez’s involvement in this COST Action will contribute to greater international visibility for the research developed in Portugal in areas such as security, human rights, and global governance, while also promoting new international scientific collaborations.
